MEETING OF THE BOARD
On Thursday, January 18, 2024, the last meeting of the current assembly of the Sincoolka club board took place, which mainly concerned the network section, its new members, and the upcoming elections.

ELECTIONS
In the near future, the chairman of the club, Adam Mitrenga, will announce the elections for the club’s board. We are looking for newcomers with interest for positions:
- Sincoolka club representative
- representative of Dejvická dormitory
- representative of Sinkule dormitory
If you would like to get more involved in the inner workings of the club, definitely consider your candidacy.
What must your application card contain?
Candidate’s first and last name, photo, room number, email address and the goals the candidate would like to uphold, etc. For more details, read the Electoral Rules of the Sincoolka club on our Wiki pages.
You can submit your application in the period from 1 to 13 February 2024. The elections will take place from 15 to 22 February 2024.
NETWORK SECTION
We welcomed two newcomers to the network section – Tomáš Saatzer and David Houdek. Furthermore, Filip Kučera stepped down form the role of the head of the network section, and has been replaced by Karel D. Kopecký.
BOARD GAMES
As far as we remember, this is the first time we’ve organised an event during the exam period. The Board games night, at which we will say goodbye to our Erasmus friends. The board games night will be held on January 30, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. in the multimedia room.
ENTRANCE TO THE DORMITORY BUILDING
From the new year, new rules for entering the building apply. Each resident has to prove himself/herself with a valid dormitory card upon entry, or by placing their ISIC card on the reader, as we are used to. If more than one resident enters the building, each of them have to be identified separately.
SAUNA
Since it is cold, we would like to bring to your attention that it is healthy to warm up in the sauna from time to time and then cool down under a cold shower. Fortunately, you don’t have to go far for this! Since 2017, we have an infrared sauna in our dormitory. You can find the sauna opposite the multimedia room. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance via email: sauna@sin.cvut.cz
THREE METERS OF WATER IN THE BOILER ROOM!!!
There was an accident in the boiler room in the early hours on 23 January. The damage to the facilities is significant and repairs will take at least the rest of January.
